There is a place in Italy called Pisa and no it’s not famous for it’s pizza but for the leaning tower. It’s the leaning tower of Pisa.

Must do in the beautiful Pisa

  • Leaning Tower of Pisa
  • Piazza del Duomo
  • Cattedrale di Pisa
  • San Giovanni Baptistery

All these sightings are in the same place. Pisa is a small city which you can see in a day. You need to know that this place is really touristic so, I’ve warned you about the massive crowd you’ll probably find here!

The Torre Pendente, Leaning Tower of Pisa, was unveiled in 1372. The tower is 58 meters high and leans 5.5 degrees off the vertical. It’s because of a layer of weak subsoil that the tilt, over time, worsened until they did a major stabilization project in the 1990s.

Fun to know: my husband thought the Leaning Tower of Pisa was a Leaning Tower of Pizza. A pizza tower, that would be cool right? When he said this, I was like ooh I want my own pizza tower, so, I (sort of) got one, my very own pizza tower.
